Mark thread as solved - already done by moderators in some forums, but would be great to have a better way of doing this. Would need to be used with some caution as many discussions in the forums are 'discussions' rather than issues that need solving. Helper helpdesk panel - personally cannot see any benefit in this in an open community such as these forums where anyone can post. My experience of most helpdesk systems (not all) is that it has a tendency to split those who ask for help and those who provide it, while one of the strengths of the moodle forums is the ability for anyone to answer any query.
