I am an absolute beginner and not a Technical Person by any means.

I have Safari 10.6.8 on an MBP, March 2010 Model. I am looking for a Virus Free, well-known & Vetted Software, to be able to Download Audio, Video & save to my computer, in the most simple way possible.
Something like dropping of URL into the Application or basically a 1 or 2 step situation.I am looking for, Free & Paid, Software, preferably, both app.If there is any that you can show me any sort opf such app brand advertising video for satisfaction, that will be great.

I am using this forum for the 1st time, so if I make any errors in this Post, please don't fly off the handle.
