You can not decide who the best players are with the amount of luck involved in matchmaking. I went 9-1 and maybe played 3 matches where either of us could have won. The other 7 matches were all in my favor and the opponent was going to lose if I played somewhat smart. Ended up going 9-3 losing 2 matches in a row that I had no chance of winning. Everyone needs to play the same deck in order to see who the best player is. Release the deck a week ahead of time let everyone practice with it and then start the tournament. Until then these tournaments prove nothing.
