I am very new to plugin development field for wordpress. I know the basic things about plugin development, but its very difficult for me to start. I dont have any clue where and how to start developing plugin for my need.

I want to capture title and description from various blog sites and pass it my API. How can I achieve it? My boss is constantly urging me, any help will be highly appreciated.
